A Fully-Funded Programme Your Institution Applies For — Not Your Students
Most training programmes ask students to find them, pay for them, and fit them around coursework. This one works the other way round.
Your institution applies on behalf of a defined student population. We assume the entire training and certification cost — US$150 per student — as a scholarship. We then work with your curriculum committee to embed the programme inside a course or rotation your students are already taking, so it becomes part of their academic experience rather than another commitment competing for their evenings.
Students complete six live contact hours, form multidisciplinary teams, identify a genuine quality or safety gap inside your own institution, and design a 30-day improvement project to close it. They present that work to a panel of Johns Hopkins-trained faculty. The strongest three teams are recommended to your leadership for support to run a real test-of-change cycle.

A Defined, Ready-to-Integrate Curriculum
Three modules across six contact hours, followed by an applied capstone. The foundations are discipline-agnostic; the applications are discipline-specific — so Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Physiotherapy and allied health students learn together while applying concepts to their own scope of practice.

All sessions are delivered live and virtually by Valdymas Health faculty. Splitting the six hours across two separate weekends gives students time between sessions to observe their own institution with new eyes and begin identifying capstone opportunities. Exact dates are agreed jointly with each approved institution around examinations and rotation schedules.

Where Students Stop Learning About Quality and Start Doing It
The capstone is what separates this programme from a certificate you collect and forget. Students work in multidisciplinary teams to identify a real quality, safety or digital transformation gap inside their own training institution — the teaching hospital, the skills laboratory, the student health service, the pharmacy, the wards where they rotate — and design a practical 30-day improvement project to close it.

Team formation
Students form multidisciplinary teams of 4–6 — deliberately mixing a nursing student, a pharmacy student and a medical student so the same problem is seen from three vantage points.
Gap identification
Each team conducts a structured walkthrough of a chosen area, using the frameworks from Modules 1 and 2 to surface a specific, measurable, addressable gap.
30-day improvement design
Teams build a project scoped to be deliverable in 30 days: aim statement, baseline measure, change idea, PDSA plan, projected outcome measure and stakeholder map.
Faculty mentorship
Every team is assigned a Valdymas Health mentor who reviews the design at the midpoint and returns written feedback before final presentation.
15-minute presentation
Teams present live to a panel of Johns Hopkins-trained faculty, with your institutional leadership invited to attend, followed by structured Q&A.
Rapid test cycle — top 3
The three highest-scoring teams are formally recommended to your leadership for support to run a real test-of-change cycle, converting a student exercise into measurable institutional improvement.

We review the application against eligibility criteria, confirm accreditation status, and assess delivery capacity against your requested student numbers and timing.
Letter of acceptance
Successful institutions receive a formal Congratulatory Letter of Acceptance signed by the Programme Director, confirming scholarship allocation and partner status.
Curriculum alignment meeting
Our academic liaison team meets your curriculum committee to agree integration points, student levels, disciplines, cohort sizing and the delivery calendar.
Opening / unveiling event
A joint launch event formally unveils the programme to your students and faculty, with leadership from both institutions participating.
Delivery, capstone and closing ceremony
Six contact hours are delivered, capstone teams work through the 30-day window, and the programme closes with a jointly-hosted presentation and awards ceremony.
